At JOIA, “Eternal Flowers” describes arrangements made from silk and wax-coated floral materials. A florist composes the stems by hand inside a clear acrylic valise. The blooms keep their shape without a water source, allowing the arrangement to become an object the recipient can display after the occasion has passed.
The materials are different from fresh-cut flowers, which need water and have a shorter display life. They are also different from preserved flowers, which begin as real plant material and are treated or dried. If that distinction matters to the person receiving your gift, it is worth checking before you order. We use “eternal” to describe the lasting intention of the piece, not to promise that any material will remain unchanged forever.
Choose the feeling before the color
Color is often the first thing someone notices, but it can also hold the reason for the gift. A deep red and orange arrangement can feel bold and immediate; pale pink can feel gentle; a purple and white composition can feel quiet and ceremonial. Choose a palette that reminds you of the recipient or the moment you want to honor.

How to care for them
Display an Eternal arrangement indoors, away from strong direct sunlight and moisture. It does not need watering. For ordinary dust, use a soft, dry brush or a gentle puff of air rather than pressing on the petals. Lift the valise by its body, and keep it where it is unlikely to be knocked over.
