JOIA guide
Silk, preserved, and fresh flowers
JOIA makes silk and wax-coated Eternal arrangements and seasonal fresh arrangements. Here is how those materials compare with preserved real flowers.

Silk and wax-coated flowers
JOIA Eternal arrangements use silk and wax-coated floral materials. We arrange them by hand in a clear acrylic valise. These flowers need no water. Keep them indoors, out of direct sunlight, and remove dust gently.
Choose an Eternal arrangement when you want a gift that can ship across the US. Gift Edition leaves room for a personal gift. Full Bloom uses more of the valise for flowers.
Preserved real flowers
Preserved flowers start as real plant material. Makers may dry the blooms or treat foliage with a preserving solution. They do not need watering after preservation, but handling and display care depend on the method. JOIA Eternal Flowers use silk and wax-coated materials, not preserved real blooms.
Fresh flowers
JOIA composes fresh arrangements with seasonal flowers in a valise, basket, or box. Fresh cut flowers need water, but care depends on the vessel. Ask JOIA how to care for the format you choose. The flowers and placement can change with the season.
Fresh orders are for Downtown Los Angeles pickup by appointment or eligible local delivery, with at least two days of notice.
If you are choosing for someone outside the local delivery area, start with Eternal Flowers. If the gift is for a local date, request Fresh Flowers and wait for JOIA to confirm availability.
